Wherever your attention goes the rest of your brain follows – but is it possible for you to train and improve your attention?
Join us at the Hive Carpenter on November 15th as we screen Amishi Jha’s thought-provoking TED Talk – ‘How to Tame Your Wandering Mind.’ A professor of psychology, Amishi Jha studies how both external and internal distractions diminish our attention span, as well as the simple techniques we can then use to boost it.
Come for an evening of networking with creatives, freelancers and entrepreneurs. This event is an informal after-work gathering of like-minded people. You can expect to make new connections amongst people doing incredibly diverse and exciting things.
Simply RSVP to get your ticket : tedtalkscreening-november.peatix.com
Non-members: $5 (one drink included)

After the screening, we will be hosting an interactive and informative discussion on what steps we can take to train our brains. All you need to bring is a sunny attitude and a willingness to meet new people.
