Matt Oon is the founder of Acceset, a social enterprise that aims to transform the landscape of mental healthcare in Singapore through prioritising one’s mental wellness in everyday life.
Prior to starting Acceset, Matt graduated from the Singapore Management University (SMU), where he majored in Sociology and honed his passion for studying human behavior and improving mental health. Soon after he founded Acceset, he received the 2018 Queen’s Young Leaders Award, in recognition of his dedication to revolutionising the way we perceive mental health in the 21st Century. Currently, Matt is a member of the Wellcome Trust Mental Health Science Community, contributing to its robust research on youth well-being and the role of social interaction in boosting one’s mental wellness.
