About the speaker – Jan Wirth is a software architect and serial entrepreneur with a specialization in web applications and a background in computational linguistics and online media. At Mercedes-Benz.io, the digital transformation unit of Daimler, he enables teams to roll out rich web applications in complex business environments and international markets on-time since 2016. During the renowned Accelerator Program Entrepreneur First in Berlin, he started his work on the future of web application development in visual programming environments as Co-Founder and CTO of Scalab.app.
Jan has seen web applications of any shape and size go up, down and sideways. With his experience of exploring new technology as well as proven approaches, he is happy to share his insight on what has worked so far, what does not and what will boost our productivity in the future.
